Puke Ariki visit

On Thursday the 27th of November, Room9 went to Puke Ariki museum. We saw two different pa sites, both made by Nigel Ogle. We also saw maori tools and wepons. 

Basic facts graph

                                        This is my basic facts graph from week 1 to 10.
                       

                               I was going up and at week 3 it was 92, then week 8 was 48.
                                                                 Quite a big change.

The Weird Story

I froze; as stiff as a statue, I wondered what exactly it was I was staring at and why it was there, it had a big 2m long door, I opened the door and what did I find inside, a door bell, but no door. 
I then rummaged around looking for the door, but found no door at all, So I said in my head, "Found or not found, there is no door at all." 
Then, I looked and felt all around again and felt a crack, then I thought Maybe I should find out if there really is a door here. So, I went to the shop and bought a Chrome book computer, a 4 set security camera, with tablet and cable to connect to computers, and a USB stick. When I got back, I set up the computer, attached 1 camera to the wall, then attached another to a gap in the wall, and disconnected the bell ringing cord out of its bell slot, then connected the cord to the computer and activated the camera. 
Later on I rang the bell by the computer and someone came out. In the gap where I put the camera, I found out, this is no house, but it's the one I was looking for! A complete control desk, with a fully programed manual control powered signal, and electric point control. There also was a digital controller. 
I dicided to ring again and say, "I'm the person who rang you to say I was coming to see you....

Pa site visit

On Wednesday room 9 went to Koru pa site. There was lots of holes and kumara pits, there was about 80 holes/pits at koru pa site. We also stopped off at Whaka whiti whiti pa site and looked at the difference, Whaka whiti whiti only had trenches, but there was still a little building left. Student lead confrences

To night is student lead conferences, and I'm feeling a bit scared, because I'm not that sure what to show. On the bright side, I know 2 things to show, which are, blog on computer, and story's in my draft writing book.

Lost in the city

Yikes! I was lost in Wellington, all around were strangers, buses, cars, and a big building which was the railway station. I thought for a minute then I said in my mind, “I could catch the next train to Porirua, or, I could find the next phone, and use my notebook and call mum or dad on their cellphones”. I chose none, I thought that I could catch the next train to Johnsonville, then get the next available phone and call dad and ask him where he was. 

So I got in the Johnsonville line train, and just as the doors on the train shut and the train started to move, mum and Jaram just got on the platform and I didn’t notice. When I got to Johnsonville, I found a phone right on the platform and called dad.

Part 1 the robbers escape again

The robbers escape again

OH NO!! NOT AGAIN! THE robbers have escaped and its night time. We will need the helicopter “call in helicopter go find the robbers right away they could be at the museum” said the chief. “Ok chief on the way” said the cop in the helicopter.  The chief spoke in his radio again but, down to the cops at the bottom of the police station. Call in cops on level 1 2 and 3 or down at the garage. What is it chief” said the other cops the robbers have escaped. OH `NO! Said the cops “we got to stop them” “I won’t see you for a while, because I am going to take the plane, from the airport to Dollar city to pick up, some equipment to use to catch the robbers”. While the chief was at the airport, waiting for the plane, the cop in the helicopter found the robbers. “Call in chief and other officers, I found them” said the cop in the helicopter. “Where are they,” asked the chief. “There on museum road, going to the museum,” “Quick chief get the equipment.” “I can’t I am still in Lego city,” said the chief. “Oh when does the plane arrive?” said the cop in the helicopter. “There is no planes running at the moment, the one I was going to catch just left, and the one that I was now going to catch, is in repairs.” Said the chief “I am going to catch the next plane, to Dollar city instead when it comes.” “Ok chief see you soon,” said the cops. While the chief was talking on his radio, the other police officers didn’t know that the robbers got lost, but the cop in the helicopter knew. He did not call them, because he went and landed, at a nearby police station. He told them the robbers had escaped again, and he said “call my chief or me ok,” “got it” they said then he took off. He then radioed the other police officers and told them. The chief was now on the plane going to get the equipment from Dollar city. When the chief was there, he was going to take the train back to Lego city from Dollar city. To catch the robbers he had a superfast motorbike to catch them both!! While the chief was doing that the cop in the helicopter found the lost robbers STILL LOST. “Call in chief,” said the cops “the helicopter hasn’t called use yet”. “OH he hasn’t called me ether,” said the chief. “I wonder that he is going to see you and us very soon,” said the cops.

My favourite subject at school is Writing because you get to write anything you like.

My favourite activity after school is checking my tom (on my tablet) because if I don’t he will really need to go toilet.

My best friends are Rilee and Lizzie because I like playing with them.  

The easiest thing at school is handwriting because you just have to copy the peace of paper /computer /whiteboard.

The thing I have to work the hardest at school is maths/ fractions because you have to decide which picture/ number.

My favourite thing to read about is train books because I need to find train info’.

My favourite possession is my RC helicopter because I like flying it.

What I hope I get for my next birthday is the new lego high speed train because I have a red one but much different.

The best thing my family does together is skiing because we like skiing

I wish I had more money to buy the AT TE of lego star wars because I really want Mace Windu with his purple light saber.

The thing I want to change the most about school is the playground because it is too small .

The thing I want to change the most about home is a model railway in our new shed when we get one because we were going to make a model railway for our model engines.
